A horrifying case of child abuse and murder brought the world’s attention on the New Mexico this month. Details with the new Police investigations reveal the clearer picture on this homicide that has shocked the whole world.
The New Mexican mom, Michelle Martens, has confessed that she had been not only witnessing, but also organizing the rape of her 10- year old daughter (Victoria) and a son of 8-years (Matthew), and that too for her own sexual gratification.
The new Police investigation documents reveal the torture that Victoria Martens, the victim, had been facing. Victoria Martens was raped, stabbed to death and dismembered on the day next to her birthday, 23 August 2016.
After a series of fabricated incidents, Michelle, this time, confessed to the Police how she organized the hideous crime, which was termed as “Unspeakable” by the governor of the New Mexico. The attorney of Michelle however, expected public not to jump to conclusions.
Michelle had been organizing the meetings of these men since last year, she told the police. She also told the Police how she met the other two convicts, Fabian Gonzales (her boyfriend), and his cousin Jessica Kelley for whom Fabian requested Michelle to let her move in. Michelle admitted to the Police of being aware of her daughter being raped by Gonzales each day of the month while she would be away.
The convicts have pleaded not guilty. Michelle is now facing multiple charges of kidnapping and child abuse leading to death. Gonzales and Kelley (who also has asked for a lawyer), have been charged with child rape, child abuse resulting in death and kidnapping.
Between all this, the custody of Matthew wasn’t clear as he restrained orders against Michelle and others after Victoria’s death. Matthew was not present there, while Victoria was murdered, according to the reports. Gonzales in his police interview blamed Kelly for Victoria’s murder.
The charges may be elevated with the further build up on this case. Interestingly, state officials had reported no sexual abuse on Victoria and her brother. A public funeral is to be held in Victoria on October 29.
