Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is ready to explore space and turn an astronaut. If you are amazed at what I am saying then please read ahead. Yes, after the release of Aamir Khan’s upcoming film, Dangal, the versatile star will portray the role of India’s great astronaut Rakesh Sharma. He is reported to have given his nod for the film and is extremely thrilled to don the astronaut’s avatar.
Aamir Khan is someone who rises up to take new challenges time and again. If he does it successfully then he will be the first Indian actor to portray such an enthralling role ever. Though, Bollywood is busy releasing one biopic after another this year, no actor has ever tried exploring space in film or even portraying the role of a cosmonaut ever.
Media sources have confirmed that Aamir Khan will be essaying the role of Rakesh Sharma, India’s first astronaut to walk on the surface of the moon. Rakesh Sharma’s immortal words “Saare Jahaan Se Achcha” is still afresh in every one’s mind when Prime Minister Indira Gandhi asked him to explain how India looked from space.
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan’s Dangal – a biopic movie portraying the life of former wrestler Mahavir Phogat – also featuring the famous TV actress Sakshi Tanwar is ready to hit theatre on December 23 this year.
But with Salman Khan’s much hyped Sultan releasing this Eid, it is almost certain that Aamir Khan might postpone the release of his ‘Dangal’ until the early next year. Both ‘Sultan’ and ‘Dangal’ deal with the life of a wrestler.
