Jat protestors have blocked all roads, highways, burned houses, looted shops. People are getting killed. Supply of daily essential is affecting. Transportation, communication services are badly impacted. Government has imposed sanction 144 and curfew in most of the districts. Army is also brought in to bring situation under control.

Jat

Government is half heartily trying to bring situation under control.

These Jat from Haryana are coming in luxury cars, wearing branded cloths & shoes and carrying most expensive shoes.

Question comes, when a community is so much financially, economically strong and is well educated, why they need reservation?

Who Are Jat?

The Jat are traditionally agricultural community in Northern India and MP. Jat are about 29% of population in Haryana. They are financially and politically strong community in Haryana. They are well educated. So actually they are socially very strong. They are not backward at all.

Why Jat Need Reservation?

They are demanding reservation for themselves under OBC quota, which will make the eligible for 27% reservation in government jobs.

Jat

What should be the solution?

Government suggested them to provide OBC quota on the basis of financial status. But Jat leader refused that proposal. They are demanding ordinance for bringing community under OBC reservation.

If government agrees to this, it will result in breaching Supreme Court’s ruling of putting cap of 50% reservation for all categories.

We at social chumbak wish, India would have been a better country, if there was same crowd against traitors doing anti national activities, corruption. That would have made our country a much prosperous, powerful and better place to live.
