Yuvraj Singh Turns Hero for Cancer Surviving Kids

In his recent interaction with 17 kids (aged 7 to 8) at Mohali, who are suffering from cancer, cricketer Yuvraj Singh instilled a fresh zeal inside them by giving some valuable tips to them. In the meet a young kid asked the talented southpaw if he could still hit six sixes in 6 balls, at which Yuvi said “You pray, I will hit six sixes again”.

However, even after 9 years, Yuvraj Singh still doesn’t know how he hit those glorious sixes in a single over of Stuart Broad against England in ICC T20 World Cup 2007 in South Africa. But Yuvraj indicated that if gets his rhythm at a particular over then he will hit 6 sixes again.

Last night, Yuvraj Singh proved his mettle on the field by scoring a fantastic match-winning 42 off just 24 balls while guiding his team Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) with a fantastic seven-wicket win against the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP). With this win SRH are inching closer towards play-off stage.

Yuvraj Singh was adjudged Player-of-the-tournament in 2011, the same year in which India won ICC Cricket World Cup after 28 years. In the same year, he was diagnosed with a stomach cancer, but just like a true real life champion the veteran batsman bravely fought the disease and got cured. Cancer surviving kids admitted that Yuvraj Singh is a real life inspiration to them and love watching him play on the field.
