Virat Kohli & AR Rahman Launch Premiere Futsal Anthem

Indian test captain Virat Kohli and Oscar-winning musician AR Rahman launched the Premiere Futsal anthem at a glitzy ceremony in New Delhi. At the star studded event the Jai Ho singer said, “I’m proud to associate with Premiere Futsal for the league’s official anthem “Naam Hai Futsal”. It makes me happy to see such young entrepreneurs being passionate about the sporting scenario of the country and I wish them all the success in this venture. I’m especially excited to work with Virat Kohli on this, let’s hope he is as good with his melody as he is with his bat!”

Cricketer Virat Kohli was also present at the event explained that he is a fan of AR Rahman and considered it as his personal achievement to share the screen with the legendary musician. Interestingly, for Virat Kohli fans there is more to cheer about. In fact, yes the dashing batsman has crooned for the Premier Futsal anthem.

Premier Futsal, a franchise-based football league in the country, has been initiated by entrepreneurs Dinesh Raj, Nithyashree Subban and Abhinandan Balasubramanian. The sports league will have prominent players like Deco, Michael Salgado and paul Scholes.

It will represent the league franchisees Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Goa and Kochi. More than 50 players from 21 countries will participate at Premiere Futsal event.
