Once again the invincible India will lock horns against the Bengal tigers at the ongoing Asia Cup T20 final in Mirpur, Dhaka tonight. Both teams are in full form and Bangladesh’s confidence is at its all-time high after they beat both Sri Lanka and Pakistan in their previous matches at the Asia Cup. But home fans have resorted to some unethical behavior showing the weird photoshopped picture of Taskin Ahmed grasping MS Dhoni’s chopped head in his hand. This image has gone viral and the news has spread like a fire all across the globe.

“This is what the Star Sports Analyst Sarang Bhalerao tweeted about this horrified morphed image;

Fans’ excitement and enthusiasm about the match is alright but they shouldn’t stoop to such extent. Obviously at the end of the day, Cricket is a sport and not war. It’s worthwhile to mention here Bangladesh and India share a close rapport and is very much familiar to each other’s likes and dislikes. India have won the Asia Cup championship 5 times, but Bangladesh didn’t win even a single edition of the trophy ever despite hosting it 5 times until now.

Last year, Bangladesh leading daily Prothom Alo (first light), put on a parody photo of India’s top players with half shaven heads. Indian fans took a strong objection to it saying Bangladesh is always known for its simplicity and rational behavior any such caricature depicting foreign players in bad light is certainly out of the nation’s culture and tradition.
