First it was in texts, then e-books, then it went on as podcasts and movies, and now… now it is in your colouring books. The renowned work of the great Indian philosopher Vatsyayana, Kama Sutra is now available as a colouring book at a price of £9.99, by Unicorn Publishing.
This will not only bring out the art in you, but it will probably convey to you what Mr. Vatsyayana had been trying to in his literary works. It will probably teach you some new moves you might want to work out in your bed.
Look, we are not questioning your skills, but Kama Sutra is amongst the best literary pieces written about sex that exist in the world.
Originated in India, the literature of Kama Sutra was written in Sanskrit by Vatsyayana. Every text loses some of its meaning when it is translated from one language to another. It might have been the case with Kama Sutra too, which was first translated for the people of Britain in the year 1883.
For the Western World, as they see it, Kama Sutra, is all about sex positions. Contrary to this misconception, only a part of it is about sex. In fact, it states 64 different skills (the arts of seduction, as Dr. Seema Anand mentions in her Tedx talk), which in totality teaches a man how to master life. Nevertheless, with the kind of image of Kama Sutra among the world, this book is all in readiness to add more colours to you.
The publication website describes:
“…Now, for the first time, a carefully chosen selection of illustrations from the Kama Sutra have been redrawn especially for the reader and aspiring artist to colour for their entertainment and enjoyment.”
The book is gaining seeming popularity (…as this year has been a trend of such books), and has already featured in the Huffington Post and Female First. And it is only one month that this book has published. As mentioned earlier, this book is originally priced at £9.99 and can be bought from UPG and other selected stores.
